Metro Volunteers hosts their annual Heart of Volunteerism event to recognize individuals with a demonstrated passion for volunteerism.

2018 Award Recipient:

For more than 50 years, Sandy has served as a volunteer, board member and a nonprofit founder. Organizations include: Douglas County Crisis
Center, Douglas County Land Conservancy, Trust for Public Lands, Colorado Mountain Club, Colorado Symphony, Colorado Ballet and Metro Volunteers.
