B:CIVIC Member Stories
BOK Financial donated $10,000 to WarriorNOW, its 2021 Guide the Giving winner.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck shared its 2020 Community Impact Report. The report highlights all the ways they provided financial, volunteer and leadership support to the communities they work in over the last year.
CoBank donated $100,000 to five local organizations in the area impacted by Hurricane Ida. The donation will support Hurricane Ida relief efforts.
Comcast is completing network expansions to the towns of Eagle, Gypsum and Kremmling in Colorado. Since 2020, Comcast has invested more than $16 million to expand its network and connect more rural communities.
COPIC Medical Foundation’s 2022 Grant Cycle to address fragmentation across care settings is underway. Proposals for the 2022 grant cycle are due Jan. 14. Organizations or programs that have demonstrated potential for uptake and/or replication in the health care community are eligible.
Group14 Engineering partnered with Denver Scholarship Foundation to provide scholarships and internships.
Impact100 Metro Denver is looking for grant proposals for transformational programs working toward economic opportunity, education and environmental conservation. Proposals are due Dec 15.
JUST Capital released a list of 32 companies leading for their workers by industry. Congrats to B:CIVIC members for being featured: Comcast, Lockheed Martin and Southwest Airlines.
Liberty Global released its new connected communities through employee volunteering strategy. With a goal to empower employees and support the communities, they are offering more opportunities for employees to give back.
National Philanthropy Day Colorado honored Barefoot PR with Outstanding Small Business and HealthONE with Outstanding Large Business awards.
Otten Johnson Robinson Neff + Ragonetti PC made a holiday donation to Metro Caring of $10,000 in lieu of hosting its annual holiday party.
PEOPLE identified the top companies supporting their employees and surrounding communities for the 100 Companies that Care list. Congrats to B:CIVIC members Bank of America, KPMG and Twilio for being recognized.
U.S. Bank is deploying $25 million in funding as part of the U.S. Bank Access Fund, a fund for women of color microbusiness owners.
Vail Resorts announced that 11 organizations will receive $560,000 in grants as part of an ongoing commitment to increase youth access to outdoor recreation.
VF Corporation published its third Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action (IDEA) Annual Profile. The report defines the key strategic pillars that serve as the drivers and benchmarks for VF’s IDEA goals.

Congrats to the 2021 Civic 50 Colorado Honorees
The Civic 50 of Colorado, an initiative of Points of Light presented by CSR Solutions of Colorado, honors the 50 most community-minded companies in our state annually based on four dimensions of their community engagement programs.
The 2021 Civic 50 Colorado honorees are public and private companies with 15+ employees who prove that social responsibility can be a successful business tool. This past year, honorees made an impact in Colorado by contributing more than $80 million in monetary and in-kind donations and volunteering more than 160,000 hours.
